A smile from a stranger,
Brightens my day
A few kind words are
All you need to say.
It’s nice to help,
And show you care
Don’t be selfish,
Try and share

Don’t bring people down,
Pull them up high,
Bring people together
And as a team we can try.

Inspire the people around you,
Encourage their dreams
Never judge others,
They may not be what they seem.

Teach others something,
And you too might learn

Give others confidence
And you’ll get it in return.

Sometimes the heaviest load
Is the lightest feather
You may not be able to carry it alone
But that’s okay because
We can do it together.

Chicken Soup For The Girls Soul – Book Review

Hey Everybody,

I just wanted to share a review about the book Chicken Soup For The Girls Soul.  I read a lot (most!)  of the Chicken Soup Book series and I really liked them a lot.  I think this book is good for girls because it has all kinds different stories for different times and moods. It has stories about success, believing in yourself and achieving your dreams. The stories are inspirational.  There are many poems in these books and I love poetry! Some of the poems in this book actually inspired some of my own poems.  I think this one in particular is a great book for girls of all ages.  My little sister Zynnia even reads the Chicken Soup books now!  She is working on the book Chicken Soup For The Kids Soul.  These book are targeted to our age group and are full of stories by girls just like us!!!  I loved this one – but I love the entire series!  I give them FIVE STARS!!!!  ~ Zanna

giggles and tears,
joys and fears.
when you need a friend
their always here.

late night movies,
games of truth or dare.
painting nails and
doing each others hair.

having sleepovers where
we stay up all night.
when a friend is here
everything’s alright.

sharing secrets and
funny stories.
making scrapbooks
full of memories.

when you need a friend
they’re always there
kind and loving to
show that they care.

I see in images and senses.  Sometimes what I see feels like it runs through me and then comes out in words, verse and rhymes….

Hello, Zanna here, I wrote a short story the other day called The Magic Dandelion and I wanted to share it with you. Enjoy!  One day I was walking in the woods and I found a small creek. I bent down and dipped my finger tips into the cold water. For a few short seconds I watched my reflection.
